The Light We Don’t See

“The Light We Don’t See” is a series of digital works created as an artistic response to the tragedy at the “Vladislav Ribnikar” school (Belgrade, Serbia), through which artist Isidora Ivanović expresses her personal grief, fear and helplessness, as well as deep empathy for the surviving children. Through solitary child figures, minimal details and recurring symbols honoring the ten lost lives, the works reveal the inner struggles, sorrow and vulnerability of the youngest. This quiet, poetic visual language stands as a testimony to a collective loss and a memory that will not fade.
